yup i was sick yesterday, sakit perutttttttt errrr diarheaa *wink* * i dont suspect any foul playyy or watever that means..muahahahahahah..gues i ate too much.. but there were only 3 invited and 1 uninvited hse and an engagmen kenduri involved during the weekends..hmmmm...

anyways since i got an MCand was a bit better towards the noon...i took the liberty to take full use of the holidayy free time..yeayyyyyyyyyyyyyy

and guess wher i went to for a vist yesterday..hhehehe

ehem ehem i went to *cough* National Science Centre *cough*

hihihihihihihi okay okay u mite haf herd it by the name Pusat Sains Negara..duhhh yg dekat Bukit Kiara tu..ceewahhhh..actually we went there for two reasons:

1. We wanted to go to a cheap place..we thot the entry fee is only RM1
2. We wanted to go to the Planetarium Negara

yeah rite yong..who got the last laugh now?? heheheh..yeah us being ignorant malaysians..ni la jadiknyeee..

Fact:
The entry fee is RM6 for adults and RM3 for kids

And the Planetarium and the Pusat Sains Negara are two totally different places situated at two different locations and even the buildings are different in color..

anyways, we still had a blast of fun...tried all the stuffs ther n snapped a few pics..even tried paper foldings but eventually we failed because it was too difficult and we simply lost our patience..try fold a stealth fighter!!..*grin* i sort of haf a soft spot for that kind of aircraft..big n funny lookin :))

hmm don quite remember the exhibition names though..jap okay there was the science exhibition, something on technology, space errrr shaittt i cant remember but we didnt miss a single spot..hhehehe..boy it was fun...

except the major turn-off was that some of the stuff are not working or simply closed for maintenace (..to server us better..) konon ..#(*!^#(!^@#!!

i donnolaaa..but ive never been lucky enuf to win anyyy lucky draws..i ges yetttt..ther's even one time back in the university days we had this jamuan..forgot what was it for but u know what.... everyone at the table won a lucky draw prize except for 2 or 3 of us including me!!!!!! darnn..well better luck next time eh??!!...

im sickkkkkkkkkkk..not today that is...hehhehehehe..can u believe this: i got my first (read: as in never ever before this o_O) MC last Friday :)) at first i wanted to ..u know....fffff-fake my MC but it turned out i was really sick.. here's wat the doctor listed out:

mild fever
sore throat
flu n hence the throbbing headache
gastrikk

u bet i got a whole bunch of obat a.k.a medicine.. yuckk... malas nak makan..

anyways i once went to a health seminar and i can still remember the speaker (who is a well known doctor or so i was told) saying that our body has its own way of treating watever sickness ur facing..as example when u haf a flu, u'll tend to get running nose and the lot..well that shows that our body is reacting ( i think battling wif the influenza virus la kot..) and by taking medicine it will actuall dry up ur nose which actually is wrong!! so just let nature takes its course...err errr ..actually that last line i think i heard it somewher else..hehheheh

hmmmm...i think its sort of true..if i get a flu, i normally get better roughly after a few days whether or not i take medicine...nyeh nyeh nyehh..maybe i'll google bout this later..

19 year old Carl Truman of Los Angeles won $74,000 and medical expenses when his neighbor ran over his hand with a Honda Accord.

The Lazy Lion Story

It's a fine sunny day in the forest, and a lion is sitting outside his cave, lying lazily in the sun. Along comes a fox, out on a walk.

Fox: "Hmm. But it's a very complicated mechanism, and your great laws will only destroy it even more"

The lion disappears into his cave, and after a while he comes back with the watch which is running perfectly. The fox is impressed, and the lion continues to lie lazily in the sun, looking very pleased with himself. Soon a wolf comes along and stops to watch the lazy lion in the sun.

Wolf: "Can I come and watch TV tonight with you, because mine is broken"
Lion: "Oh, I can easily fix your TV for you"
Wolf: "You don't expect me to believe such rubbish, do you? There is no way that a lazy lion with big claws can fix a complicated TV"

hehehehhehe..was at Kinokuniya during lunch hour tadi...looking for a book for a besday girl (not u baby..hehhehe ko nye pressie blom beli lagi *wink*) anyway finally managed to settle on this book: The Lipstick Chronicles. And one of the reviews says that its Perfect for fans of the hit show-Sex and the City... well not sure bout this cos ive never watched it..i bought it for the sake of buying..heheh not really...it looks interesetinglky readable..hope she finishes it fast *wink*

actually i did have something to report yesterday..its just that i was hafing problem wif wbloggar or i think blogger itself la kot..can't post and the thing is i saved what i typed in my notebook which i purposely left @home today..adeiiiiiii

anyhoo took the lrt today..managed to get a seat..ehehee the truth is that i waited for an empty train baru i board..jauh tu..KJ-KLCC..

the question of the day is:

if you get a seat on the lrt should you sleep or not?

i have a weakness for the elders n pregnant mommies..oiii not that kind of weakness..its jus that i have to and want to (willingly..mind you) give up my seat for these ppl(if i happen to see onela)..

tapi i nak duduk and i hate to draw attention..ceewahh..camner camner?

whahahhahahah..yeah yong..wat a snob..uweekkk..i can alredi see a big A stamped on my forehead..hehhehe

wat happen was that the ticket for the usual bus which we normally take from PERAK was sold out (for Monday 830 pagi lak tu!!) so we had to settle on a not-so-comfy bus..and gues what happened half way: one of the tyres exploded..horror gile..

i swear i haf nuthin to do wif it.. im not that berat sampai the tayar meletup..errrrr..i hope not la..heheheh

we were happily stranded for nearly..err 45 minits kot until another bus from the same company stopped. IT WAS FULL.

my sister (tgh desperate) asked the driver:
tolongla incik..emergency nih..nak kena masuk keje kol 4..dok kat tangga pun takpe

heheh so we hopped on the bus..lucky me..a nice makcik (passenger) gave up her son's seat wher as my sister had to made do with the floor..nyeh nyeh nyeh.. yeah a traitor im not.. :)

..sori kak dah abis..abisla dik..paling awal 430 la dik..

entah camne i manage to get on a 1030 bus..alhamdulillah.. cost me a bloody RM16 and the back seat - near the emergency door and the toilet tu.. :(

but imagine me hafin to like do nothing for about nearly 2 hrs.. got me a few mags and food..hehehhe then sat on one of the bench (to be exact dirctly in front of Dunkin Donuts..nyum nyum) for the whole waiting period..its like im glued to the bench..

saw a lot of shoes of different kind and sizes and and i saw this bag a lady was draggin..hint:its a trolly bag..i want i want..kiut giler..nampak professional...mannn now i haf to go and find that bag..nantilaaaa...

anyways am comin back home (yeah again..heheh) nex week and thank god i don haf to take the bus..legaaAAAaa..

I am quite shock to read this, cause this would be how I would do, too just take and keep, without checking the card! Will do that from now on (although the credit limit is very low). <------ me toooooooooo! n i still hafnot check my card..sat lagi laa

Scene 1:
Friend goes to the local gym and places his belongings in the locker. After the workout and a shower, comes out, sees the locker open and thinks to himself "Funny..I tot I locked the locker...hmmm" dresses and just flips the wallet to make sure all is in check. Everything looks ok, all cards in its place.

A few weeks later...his credit card bill comes...WTF! A whooping bill of RM14k! Calls up the credit card company and tarts yelling at them saying that he did not make the transactions...customer care personnel verified that there is no mistake in the system and asks if his card had been stolen.

"No" he says..takes out wallet and pulls out card...yup! you guessed it...a switch was made. Another similar, expired ooking card was placed in the wallet. The thief broke into his locker at the gym and switched cards.

Verdict? Credit card issuer says since he did not report the card missing earlier, he would have to still pay the amount owed to them.

How much does he have to pay for items he did not buy? RM9k Why were there no calls to verify the amount wiped? Small amounts rarely trigger a 'warning bell' in credit card companies. It just so happens that the small amounts amounted to big ones!

Scene 2
My dad at a local restaurant paid for his meal with his credit card.
The bill came, he signed it and the waitress folds the receipt and passes the credit card along. Usually, he would just take it and place it in his wallet or pocket. Funny enough, he actually just took a look at the card and lo and behold...wrong expired card of another person. He called the waitress and she looked perplexed. She took it back, apologized and hurried back to the counter under the watchful eye of my dad. All the waitress did whilst walking to the counter was she waved the fake card and the counter cashier immediately looked down and took out the real card. No exchange of words...nothing....

Took it and came back to my dad with apologies.

Verdict: make sure the credit cards in your wallet is yours! Check the name on the card every time you sign for something and is taken away for a short period of time.
