small talks

don't you hate it when you go into the lift and you see someone you know, an acquaintance or maybe an associate or someone you know but not close to...

well i do (hate it)... okay maybe not all the time.. sometimes you can get new "lift" friends where you won't even know their name forever but because of that one small talk its a start of a beautiful realationship (read: because now you have the invisible "lift friend" bond, you can now continue making small talk or give nodding 'recongnition' gesture whenever or next time u bump into each other even if its outside the lift).. oh come on.. it cant just be me..

anyways,
i know a simple nod with a smile will do

but nooOOOooo your friend here sometimes just cant keep her mouth shut..
im the queen (ceewah) of small talks.. not that im good at it.. huhuhuhu

for example just now
i was in the lift with this lady whom i know - not that close so 'the' nod and smile should be sufficient.. but nooOOoo i had to continue giving her compliments saying she looks nice (she was wearing a nice kebaya top)..and i did NOT i repeat i did NOT stopped ther. After a pause i went on how if she were in this persatuan who's having their jamuan raya today, she could have won best dressed. it also didnt help with the lift taking ages to open because apparently no one pressed the button. pintu bukak je we went our ways and not evn looking back to say our buhbyes. wtfkan??

now im confused whether i was being sincere or its just small talk :P
